PIA VPN works great for me.
Pros:
- There are many different regions to choose from: European, U.S., Asia, Australia, and more.
- It has Wireguard and OpenVPN support and you can request port forwarding for some regions
- It allows users to bypass the VPN for specific programs
- You can use a double VPN (ShadowSocks)
- Their tech support is helpful for most inquiries
- It can be used on up to 10 devices simultaneously
- It is compatible with many other security programs such as Portmaster
- There is an extension for the BiglyBT torrent client and PIA is integrated in other programs as well
Cons:
- You cannot renew your account with cryptocurrency, you have to create a fresh account to get PIA VPN after your subscription has expired.
- Many of their IPs have been used for nefarious purposes and are therefore banned by some websites (e.g. https://www.willhaben.at/)
- Their default encryption setting is AES-128, you have to manually set it to AES-256 to get stronger encryption
